OAEC学生在Showstopper舞蹈大赛中喜获佳绩
全美规模最大的舞蹈比赛之一的Showstopper2014地区赛上周末在休斯敦Stafford中心刚刚落下帷幕。此次舞蹈大赛参赛选手人数众多、阵容强大。 OAEC派出的15位学生不畏强手，表现十分突出，喜获多项大奖。她们行云流水的舞蹈动作和自然含蓄的表演风格、扎实的基本功和OAEC老师独具匠心的编排，配合精美的服装服饰和精致专业的妆容，受到了评委和观众的青睐。她们在多个组别共获得14项综合排名大奖、1项双白金、11项白金和2项金奖。
“Weaving the Dream” by Michelle Tang received 1st place platinum in category 13-14 Yrs Solo Advanced Folkloric;
“Butterfly” by Joline Sun won 10th place overall and 1st place gold in 7-8 Yrs Solo Performance Folkloric;
“Blossoming of the Peacocks” by Joanna Yu won 6th place overall and 1st place platinum in 12 Yrs Solo Performance Folkloric;
“Walking in the Spring” by Audrey Liu received 4th place gold in Age 13-14 Yrs Solo Performance Folkloric;
“Dancing on the Clouds” by Shiyu Zhang received 3rd place overall and 1st place platinum in Age 13-14 Yrs Solo Performance Folkloric;
“Resonance” by Irena Wan won 5th place overall and 1st place platinum in 14 Yrs Solo Performance Open;
“Moon Trance” by Irena Wan won 4th place overall and 1st place platinum in 14 Yrs Solo Performance Contemporary;
“Breath of Everest” by Alice Li won 5th place overall and 2nd place platinum in 15-16 Yrs Solo Performance Folkloric;
“Green Destiny” by Olivia Wang won 2nd place overall and 1st place platinum in 15-16 Yrs Solo Performance Folkloric;
“Solitude of Spring” by Alice Kwok received 7th place overall and 1st place platinum in Age 17-19 Yrs Solo Performance Folkloric;
“Lotus” by Michelle Wan received 3rd place overall and 1st place platinum in Age 16 Yrs Solo Performance Open;
“Home” by Barbara Sun received 4th place overall and 1st place platinum in Age 16 Yrs Solo Performance Contemporary;
“Push the Limit” by Victoria Songyang received 6th place overall and 2nd place platinum in Age 16 Yrs Solo Performance Contemporary;
“Oriental Impression” by Daisy Lin, Amber Liu, Michelle Tang, Michelle Wan, Grace Zhang won 1st place overall and 1st place double platinum in Age 14 Yrs Small Group Performance Contemporary;
This qualifies them to go to the Showstopper National Finals in Galveston this summer.
