OAEC participating in the Houston 2013 Spring Festival Celebration Variety Show
“Embrace the spring "- the Houston 2013 Spring Festival Celebration Gala was held at Stanford Center on the January 19 successfully. The large-scale variety show hosted by the Chinese Civic Center, has a very high artistic level, full of strong national characteristics and artistic charm. Colorful and full of joyful, passed a wonderful blessing. Over twenty arts groups and professional artists, 200 actors and staff to participate in the show, nearly a thousand of friends and family members enjoyed the show together to celebrate the Lunar New Year, embrace the spring, wish a better future.
Outstanding performances of OAEC students added on the bright color to the show and received the good comments. Duets "Ronghua" was awarded the Top Ten performance at 2012 Global Overseas Chinese Dance Contest. The group dance "Tibetan Mystery" followed by the most affectionate emancipated music, step-by-step paste into the audience, pushed the show to a climax.
During the Spring Festival, the OAEC is invited to participate in Houston Children's Museum 2013 Lunar New Year celebrations, the Southern Chinese News the Lunar New Year Day and other various events. Oriental Art Education Center encourage students to experience ethnic traditional cultural and establish a community service by participating in public service dedication.
