OAEC performed at the 63rd China National Day Celebrations

September 29, a multi-arts show for the 63rd anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China was held at Stafford Center Performance Arts Theatre. Twenty accomplished performers from Liaoning Province of China thrilled the audience with songs, dances, Chinese musical performances and acrobatics.

OAEC participated as one of the two local programs representing the Houston Chinese community. Seventeen well-trained dancers presented a spirited interpretation of the group piece "Zen" to share the beauty of the East. They brought the best wishes to all Chinese over the world and their wonderful performance has received a favorable response from all audiences.

Oct 30th, OAEC: twelve young performers and a six year-old vocalist, Stephanie Ma, moved the audience this evening with "Ode to the Motherland". Chairwoman, Helen Zhou, sang along with her silently while waiting to go on stage to give opening remarks. Miss Na Chen’s beautiful solo dance "Infinity" also earned great applause and appreciation.
