OAEC has launched a new Chinese Camp course - " Nihaoma "

 

“Nihaoma” Chinese educational institutions (Nihaoma LLC.) focus on children's Chinese education, offering children's Chinese language courses in more than 12 well known Private schools throughout Houston, including The Kinkaid School, Fay School, Post Oak School, Schlenker School, and the Memorial Elementary, etc. Summer is approaching, "Nihaoma" will launch a new Chinese Summer Camp curriculum in Oriental Education Center, and classes’ start 6/4.

"Nihaoma” Chinese program use Ma Liping literacy textbook, supplemented by numbers of Electronic Educational Technology, games, songs, video and storytelling forms that children like. Children will learn and practice live Chinese in a relaxed atmosphere. At OAEC Summer Camp, students will be assessed carefully and grouped to their proficiency level and age accordingly. 90 minutes of Chinese instruction will be provided a day Monday to Thursday. Weekly classes are structured around independent themes, fun and easy to learn. For example, in the professor of the theme of "food", the children in addition to the review of the common food-related vocabulary will also learn a related songs, read a related story book, learn to cook and talk about a The signature dish at home, as well as research and describe a food that only can buy in the Chinese supermarket, and may even exercise as a restaurant waiter how to cope with the tricky customers. In short, "Nihaoma " will let children to fall in love with the Chinese, " Nihaoma” is looking forward to meet with your child at Chinese class in OAEC!

"Nihaoma” was co-founded by Dr. Lei Deng and Ms. Jiayao Pang.  Ms. Jiayao Pang has 18 years of Chinese teaching experience from elementary to college levels in Europe and in the U.S. She has a B.A. degree in Chinese Language and Literature, and a M.A. in Educational Psychology. In both 2009 and 2010, she has received “Outstanding Achievement Award” by the consulate General of China in Houston, because of the outstanding performance of her students in the prestigious international Chinese proficiency competition “the Chinese Bridge”. Dr. Lei Deng has 7 years experience of teaching Chinese to youth, plus 6 years experience of teaching biochemistry to college students. She is also founder of an online library of animated English Chinese bilingual Children’s books. All instructors of "Nihaoma” are English-proficient Chinese native speakers with vast teaching experience. They all have dynamic and warm personalities, know how to motivate young students, and participate in professional trainings regularly.
