OAEC参加 BMTA钢琴音乐节 精彩展示中国舞蹈艺术魅力
3月31日, 东方艺术教育中心应邀前往Brazosport College 2012 BMTA Piano Festival -“Dances Through The Ages”. 学员,Michelle Wan, Alice Kwok,Judia Kwok,Jenny Zhu Meggie Yang 和高班学生肖溪莹带去了傣族舞 “喜水”,藏舞 “库玛拉”, 川剧风格浓郁的-俏花旦, 以及刚刚在全美2012 Dance Showcase Region Competition中获高年级组白金奖的古典舞-断桥. 六位学生的出色表现得到主办单位- Brazosport Music Teacher Association的高度赞扬,并专门来信表示感谢。
演员们不辞辛劳,为不同的学生观众连续演出了四场,其间肖溪莹为观众详细介绍了中国舞蹈的民族音乐,舞蹈语汇和表达的特点, 以及相关的中国文化背景知识, 并穿插了OAEC的学生与小观众的互动：学转手绢和舞扇花，调动了孩子们对中国传统文化艺术的浓厚兴趣,气氛热烈,深受欢迎。
